2013 Country Action Grant Scheme and Victalent

Applications  for  Phase 1 of the 2013  Country  Action  Grant Scheme (CAGS) and Victalent  grants  are  open from 31 August 2012. 

Applications  will be considered in two phases. 

Please  note  that  the closing date for applications for projects starting  in the first half of 2013 is 11 October 2012.

Community sport and recreation organisations in rural and regional Victoria may submit a 2013 CAGS application seeking one grant of up to $5,000 to:

      Help organisations operate more effectively.

      Fund attendance at relevant training courses.

      Provide accessible sport and active recreation opportunities

Eligible  organisations  may also apply for up to two $500 Victalent grants to  support   athletes,  coaches,  officials  and teams who are required to travel extensively in order to engage in training and competition.

2013  CAGS  and  Victalent  guidelines are available from the Department of Planning      and      Community      Development      (DPCD)      website www.dpcd.vic.gov.au/grants. 

Eligible organisations can apply online at the same  website.   Alternatively, they can download the application form from the  DPCD  website  and email the completed application form along with any required  documentation  to  grantapplications@dpcd.vic.gov.au.
